Hello all.
I am trying to use Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 to work with midi files and my sound card doesn't seem to be working with it. I have a real Tech audio sound card and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? The option for my sound card doesn't pop up when I try to choose my midi in and out ports. However, when I looked in my soundcard properties, it said Enable midi checked or something like it so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I can't seem to record just me talking either. Any help on this will be much appreciated!

hmm, interesting. Try going into control panel, and then unmuting and setting the sw synth to full. For midi output choose midi mapper or microsoft wave table or whatever other synth you have. Midi output is a bit different from audio output.
